Location: Los Angeles, California, USA
While on a trip to Los Angeles, USA my family and I were on a walk in the city where we observed a flowering bird of paradise with hummingbird resting after a day of feeding on flowers. I quickly set up my camera to photograph the inquisitive little bird, choosing the best angle for an interesting background. I realized the beautiful white background assisted in accentuating the detail in the birds feathers and subtle fluorescent green flecks along its back.
