Here at Australia Zoo, Sumatran tigers have been a part of our animal family for many years. This species is classified as critically endangered in the wild with their dwindling population in dire need of our help. That is why we are so proud of our breeding program at the zoo and on-ground support for their conservation in Sumatra.We are doing all we can to significantly contribute to the survival of these cats. It’s easy to see what a beautiful animal they really are. Not only amazing and powerful big cats, but also incredibly affectionate!
